MAINTENANCE
It is important to understand the need for maintenance on the structures
we produce. Maintenance is divided up into two main areas
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
Preventive maintenance is conducted to keep equipment working and/or
extend the life of the equipment. This function is the sole
responsibility of the owner of the equipment.
The care and servicing by the client for the purpose of
maintaining equipment and facilities in
satisfactory operating condition
by providing for systematic inspection, detection, and correction of
incipient failures either before they occur or before they develop into
major defects, including adjustments, and parts replacement, performed
specifically to prevent faults from occurring
A maintenance pack is handed over to our clients on completion of a
project to allow them to better understand and implement a preventative
maintenance of their structures.
CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE
Corrective maintenance, "repair", is conducted to get
structures working again. This service is carried out by Cape Shade
personnel when damage is reported by the owner of the equipment to Cape
Shade personnel.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
In order to assist our clients we do offer a PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
CONTRACT whereby Cape Shade regularly services the structures and clean
the membranes. For more information please ask your sales
