CAPE SHADE: ARCHITECTURAL

Cape Shade caters for a wide variety of products that can be used in any number of market segments.

Architectural structures can take any shape or form and are custom made for a specific sight with function and form driving the design.  The process is as follows:

1. Provisional design

In order to meet every clients own individual needs and design we work with the client

and their architects in order to project and document the look and feel of the structure.

This process can easily be accomplished by viewing the wide range of example structures on our archives.  We can supply you with a number of alternatives in order to best understand your requirements.  These images have been categorized for your

convenience.  Once we have a good idea of the clients preference we will generate a 2

dimensional image on AUTOCAD and a 3 dimensional image of the membrane.  During

this process our aim is to project the clients needs onto paper for the client to approve the look and feel of the structure.  This process can take 5 days to 3 weeks depending on the clients needs

2. Budget

Once the client has approved the look and feel of the structure we will supply a budget

price for the manufacture and installation of the structure.  We will need the client to sign off of the budget price and look and feel of the structure.

3. Detailing

Once we have received the written confirmation from the client on the look and feel and

budget price we will produce the final detailing of the structure.  At this point we introduce the structural engineer and the production supervisor into the project.  Using their experience and expertise we document the final design and fixing system of the structure.

4. Final pricing

We are now ready to enter into a contract with the client.  This contract will incorporate

the price, the design and the production schedule.  Due to the specific nature of the

structure each and every structure is designed for a specific application.  The structure

cannot be adapted and re-used on anther site as a result we do require a deposit to be

paid prior to the commencement of manufacturing.  Once the deposit has been received

we will commence with manufacturing.

5. Installation

Once the structure has been manufactured we will contact the client to arrange for the

installation of the structure.
